It's been almost a month since my last update.

I would love to update and say that I've been writing furiously on my story for crossbigbang, but that wouldn't be the truth. I have tried, I mean, really really tried, but I'm stuck somewhere in Chapter Five and Six and don't quite know how to get myself going again. One thing I love about my place of employment is that people look for ways to socialize. And eat. Because for some reason, socializing must involve eating, right? I recently (read: today at lunch) discovered some journals over on LJ that I had years ago. I went from using those to posting everything on LJ's version of this journal, but I never deleted them because they have things and notes that I wanted to save and keep. Another year has come and gone (swiftly), and as I get older I'm left wondering where all the time went. I ponder the fact that looking back over the year, it feels as though I've accomplished absolutely nothing and really did nothing more than exist from the day to day. I'm not sure where the time is going or why there are not enough hours in the day (or enough energy left at the end of it) for me to post. But I'm here.
